What is Hardwipe?
Hardwipe is a free file wiper and drive cleaner for Windows. It can be used to permanently erase, or to "hard wipe", data on disk and portable storage media (i.e. USB drives and memory sticks) in order to prevent personal or sensitive business information from ever being recovered. It can wipe entire drives, wipe files individually, and sanitize unused drive space. It runs from within the OS and supports right-click context menus in Windows Explorer. Or you can simply use it as a standalone application if you prefer.

Took an hour for 320GB HDD. Also will do files, folders, and volumes. Will clear pagefile.. which isn't something I see a lot. Perfect! Thank you! :)

Can pause operation compared to Eraser .
My preference is to send file to the Windows Recycle Bin, and later have them destroyed. Therefore I like having the Recycle Bin context menu.
But I wish:
A) A scheduler. B) I don't need the "standalone" interface. C) None of the other stuff...just the Recycle Bin features.
