What is Hail?

Hail is a free software that allows users to freeze unnecessary Android apps to improve device performance and save power.

The term "freeze" refers to disabling, hiding, or suspending apps. Disabled apps won't appear in the launcher or the installed apps list. Hidden apps will also be removed from the launcher and installed apps list, but their data and package files remain on the device. Suspended apps, available for Android 7.0 and above, will appear in grayscale in the launcher and their activities, notifications, and sounds will be stopped.

Users can unfreeze, unhide, or unsuspend apps to return them to their original state.
