What is ATV Optimizer?

Debloat and tune Android TV devices — disable bloat, switch launchers, sideload APKs, tweak HDMI-CEC and frame-rate matching, and pull health reports. Works on Nvidia Shield TV, Onn 4K Pro, Chromecast with Google TV, Google TV Streamer, and other Android TV devices. Available actions depend on the device firmware and its permissions.

Fire TV compatibility is build-dependent. Some Fire OS builds reject changes to the protected Amazon stock launcher, including attempts to re-enable it. Recognizing Projectivy or another supported launcher does not establish that the firmware permits changing Home or disabling stock. The app reports the command error, precautionary restore outcome and actual Home readback separately; it does not bypass firmware protection. See issue #205 for a Toshiba Fire TV report still awaiting version/build details.
