Gymus is a gym workout tracker and strength training log for Android and Wear OS. Log a set in one tap, follow a plan, and see your strength go up over time.
The watch app is the main reason it exists. The whole session runs from a Wear OS watch: exercise, set number, weight, reps, rest timer with haptics, live heart rate. Log a set and move to the next exercise from your wrist. The phone can stay in the locker. Everything syncs back when the two are in range.
The log itself is built for the gym floor. Previous weight and reps are pre-filled, sets can be marked warm-up, working, drop or failure, the rest timer starts itself, and you can add or remove sets mid-workout. Reps, time, distance and pace all live in one log, so cardio and strength sit together. Custom exercises are supported, and the built-in library has 1,300+ exercises with illustrations, step-by-step instructions, equipment, primary and secondary muscles, and difficulty.
Plans can be built by hand (push pull legs, upper lower, full body, 5x5, bro split) or generated by AI from your goal, available days and equipment. Each plan shows the exercise list and estimated duration before you start, and exercises can be reordered or swapped at any time.
Progress tracking covers estimated one rep max per exercise, volume per workout, best set weight, personal records, a training calendar and full history, with 1M, 3M, 6M and 1Y ranges. After every workout you get a score and a written breakdown of intensity, variety and effectiveness, plus a view of which muscle groups you are over- or under-training.
Gymus works fully offline. Every set is saved locally and backed up to the cloud once you are online again. Body weight can be logged and trended, and both weight and workouts can be synced with Health Connect (off by default). Workout history can be imported from Hevy or Strong via CSV, and exported as CSV.
