    gTove is described as 'lightweight web application to simulate a virtual tabletop. Multiple maps and standee-style miniatures can be placed on the tabletop, and everyone connected to the same tabletop can see them and move the miniatures around'. There are three alternatives to gTove, not only websites but also apps for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Windows, Self-Hosted solutions and SaaS. The best alternative is Roll20, which is free. Other great sites and apps similar to gTove are Foundry Virtual Tabletop (Paid) and Rolisteam (Free, Open Source).
