      Mint.com vs GnuCash opinions
This alternative is disputed. Mint.com is still a legitimate alternative to GnuCash, but it might have issues that some users think are important.
It only works in the US and Canada and offers very little functionality outside online banking, e.g. it doesn't support cash accounting or other, more advanced functionality.

Online only. Nothing near the fuller accounting functions of good bookkeeping software. Use a spreadsheet or even a ledger book for better features. Generally, stay away from Intuit's monopoly of US financial software if you can.

Mint has no double ledger functionality, it's too easy for account totals to disagree.

It's not an application, it's a web service, making it unusable without an internet connection, and unusable for any serious accounting due to privacy issues
