A simple log view tool with search and highlight features.
It seems to me reaaaaaaallyyyy basic
Its Awesome as sad, it can handle large files, and I am able to search from a large file now on linux.
For my work I recently needed to open and search a large log file (~5.5 GB). glogg was able to open and search the log file very fast and without using a lot of memory. A really good tool!
But my job I was searching for a tool that made it possible to look through really big text files in Windows. There were pretty different files like 80mio lines or just 50mio lines.
With most of them glogg was opening them in a really short time. But for maybe 10% of these files I got an error.
You must know that glogg is going through the files and creating an index. Something must be wrong there. But yeah I think glogg is still Beta or so. So this can happen.
The development is still active. So hopefully will be fixed soon.
