Gitoza

Gitoza is a self hosted task and test manager for teams that want tickets, releases, and manual test cases versioned in Git instead of a cloud tracker, TMS, or spreadsheet.

Work items and run results are stored as YAML files in your repository. Tickets and releases live under .gitoza/tasks/; test cases and runs under .gitoza/test/. Engineers can open those files in the IDE — and AI assistants (Cursor, Copilot, and similar tools) can read and help draft tickets and cases next to the code, with full Git history and review workflows you already use.

For teams, Gitoza Desktop adds ticket and release views, dashboards, structured test runs, review and approval workflows, and sync to a dedicated branch in your remote. There is no vendor-hosted database — you bring your own Git hosting (GitHub, GitLab, or any remote). Everything stays searchable offline via a local index; Sync when you are ready to share.

Start with Lite for a quick personal try of Test-as-Code in VS Code. Start with Desktop if you need Git-native task management, team dashboards, sign-off workflows, or testers who do not use the IDE.
