What is GD Map?
GdMap is a tool which allows to visualize disk space. Ever wondered why your hard disk is full or what directory and files take up most of the space? With GdMap these questions can be answered quickly. To display directory structures cushion treemaps are used which visualize a complete folder or even the whole hard drive with one picture.

Somehow i prefer jDiskReport than this app. For more basic overview Baobab is sufficing and i think has more features than GDmap.
This is the only true alternative to SquoiaView! Nothing ever superseeds simplicity and efficiency of these boxes to find out what exactly wastes space. Baobab etc- all stray in wrong direction. GD Map is a must have!
Good but not very configurable. Also, unlike WinDirStat, this does not list out the directory tree, it only shows coloured blocks at the end.
