    Godot IS a 2D and 3D or both development. I don't know why people say is only for 3D

    Godot is not for everybody, especially if they do not like coding. But as an engine it certainly is far more feature-packed than Gdevelop. As a plus, Godot can do both 2D and 3D, while Gdevelop is limited to 2D only.
