FocusComet is an Android focus and app-blocking app designed to remove distracting cues during work, study and other focused activities.
It provides two focus modes. Calm Mode works like a conventional app blocker, returning you to FocusComet when you try to open a restricted app. Immersive Mode hides selected distracting apps from view for the duration of the session. The apps return automatically when the session ends.
You can create reusable profiles for different situations such as work, study, reading, exercise or sleep, each with its own selection of apps, and switch between them in one tap. Essential apps can remain available during a session, so things like maps or email stay usable while distractions are hidden.
Completed focus sessions contribute to a visual progression system in which focused time becomes stars, planets and galaxies. FocusComet also includes streak tracking, session analytics, focus ranks and leaderboards. There are no ads, and FocusComet can be used without creating an account.
The free tier includes Calm and Immersive modes, two focus profiles and up to two hours of focus sessions per day. An optional Premium subscription adds unlimited profiles and focus time, automatic profile schedules, deeper analytics and heatmaps, app-level notification control and monthly streak freezes.
FocusComet requires Android 6.0 or later.
