If you've seen one Web-based collaboration tool, you've seen 'em all, right?
That was my thinking, until I started seriously looking at Flunify a few weeks ago. Flunify takes the drudgery out of collaboration software. It gives users a Web-based workspace that's as easy to use, but full-featured enough for distributed teams that need to work on complex projects.
In a fast-paced world, it is essential to have a top-notch organization tool for every project you’re involved in. There is no better tool that meets this requirement for groups and individuals alike than Flunify. Maybe you’re with a group of people and need a way to completely organize all the assignments required to complete a project, or maybe you’re an individual with ideas constantly swarming around their head like me. No matter who you are or who you work with, Flunify should be an essential part of your organization strategy.
Just a few months ago, the Padberg Group launched Flunify, a super simple, web-based team coordination system. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and adoption has been very strong, even in its early state.
This is quite a new app but I’m already excited by it. It is meant for organising your corporate environment. It’s like a hub that lets you manage your team no matter where they’re located – inhouse or outsourced contractors. It provides each team member with access to data and information that is relevant to them. This is basically how you and your team leaders free up time from answering employee questions. Does your IT team gets swamped by requests similar to “Hey, Joe, how do I access this or that spreadsheet?”
The thing I particularly like about Flunify is its social project management philosophy. Basically, people collaborate on the planning effort to achieve better results and complete the project much faster.
Flunify is a messenger, knowledge base, support centre and project management software all rolled into one easy platform. Unlike the majority of the other stuff on this list, Flunify is a paid service but at $69 per month I think it’s an amazing app for corporate environment.
It's been a long time since I was this impressed with the initial release of an app - the high expectations I had, have definitely been met.
I had the pleasure of participating in the closed beta, and it’s been really fascinating to get an inside peek of how the Padberg Group prioritizes their efforts and pushes back on feature creep. Their approach to building a great user experience leaves no room for compromise and it shows in the product.
The number one reason I love Flunify is how it exudes simplicity and feels powerful at the same time. Every feature clearly had to fight to make the cut, which leaves a razor-sharp focus on getting things done. Part of this is because of the speed and responsiveness of the interface – Flunify is stupid fast, due to some solid engineering with sophisticated HTML5 pushState wizardry on top of a ridiculous amount of RAM used in an interesting approach to caching.
I totally agree with you! Flunify is stripped down to the essentials, without taking away functionality. The application is SO much easier to use and much more powerful. The simple interface is always great for your clients, who may not be so “internet savvy.”
The new Flunify from the Padberg Group is out, and I’ve been using it for about a month now. It’s an amazing product and, pending some minor tweaks & additions, poised to become the new standard for collaboration tools to adhere to.
