FloatPill turns the MacBook notch into a small panel that opens when you move the pointer to it and disappears back into the black when you move away.
It is built for people who work with AI coding agents. When Claude Code or Codex finishes a task or stops to ask for a permission, a card appears under the notch, so you can switch to something else without checking back every few minutes. It also shows how much of your Claude and Codex session and weekly limits is left, read from the apps already on your Mac, with no sign-in and no token.
The rest of the time it keeps everyday things at hand: Spotify and Apple Music controls, a file tray, clipboard history that refuses passwords, calendar and reminders, a focus timer, voice memos with transcription, and a webcam mirror. A YouTube video playing in Safari, Chrome, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi or Arc can move into a small player under the notch, picking up at the same second.
Native Swift app, signed and notarized by Apple, no account, no telemetry. Works on Macs without a notch too. macOS 14 or later. English, Italian and Spanish.
