Free and open source app for managing your smartphone's flashlight brightness. Requires Android 13 or higher. Really great app!

UI = User Interface UX = User eXperience Most open source apps offer out-dated or classic material design UI. If the apps works great and the UX is not terrible you might find it okay. But intuitive UI are better, and modern looking ones are pleasant to use, sadly they are not the majority. Here is my list of Beautiful Open Source Apps for your android device ! What is FlashDim?

Starting with Android 13, it's possible to control multiple brightness levels of the flashlight. To be able to use this new feature I've developed this app.

Features:

Accessibility Service Disclosure: To offer the functionality to toggle the flashlight using the volume buttons FlashDim uses an accessibility service. It is able to read key events and react to the click of the volume buttons. I do not process or collect any kind of data other than the volume button key events.
