What is FlashDesk?
FlashDesk is an all-in-one remote desktop and remote access tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Instead of juggling separate apps, it brings remote control and screen sharing, a built-in SSH terminal, session recording with one-click MP4 export, and file transfer into a single window.
Connections are encrypted and, where possible, run peer-to-peer between devices for low latency, falling back to relay automatically when a direct path isn't available. FlashDesk also includes clipboard sync, automatic updates, and an admin console for managing seats, licenses, and billing.
A standout feature is AI Workspace: it lets local AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex operate on a remote machine over SSH.
FlashDesk is free for personal, non-commercial use with the main features included. Business and commercial use is a flat $6.99 (¥980) per user per month. It's a lighter, lower-cost alternative to TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RustDesk, and Chrome Remote Desktop.
