What is FlareWarden?
FlareWarden is uptime monitoring built for small businesses, freelancers, and agencies who need reliable alerts without the complexity of enterprise observability platforms.
The core problem it solves: most monitoring tools check from a single location. If that location has a network issue, you get a false alert. FlareWarden checks from 18 regions across 6 continents and cross-validates before sending any notification. A failure in one region triggers verification from multiple others — if they disagree, no alert fires. Only confirmed outages reach you.
Smart Setup reduces configuration time from hours to minutes. Paste a URL and FlareWarden scans your site to auto-detect SSL certificates, third-party service dependencies (recognizing 700+ services including Stripe, Shopify, Cloudflare, AWS, and more), and critical page content. Review the results, confirm, and you're fully monitored. The parent/child monitor architecture gives more context than a simple up/down status. Your main site is a parent monitor. Dependencies like payment providers or CDNs are linked as child monitors. When a dependency fails, the parent shows "degraded" rather than "down" — so you know checkout is broken, not that your entire site is offline. Every plan includes branded status pages that are API-compatible with Atlassian StatusPage v2, making migration straightforward for teams already using that format. Subscribers can sign up for notifications directly from your status page.
Additional features include SSL expiry alerts (at 30, 14, and 7 days), content verification, webhook integrations for Slack, Discord, Teams, and PagerDuty, role-based team permissions, and data exports. Pricing starts with a free forever plan (15 monitors, 5-minute checks, no credit card). Paid plans range from $6/mo (Starter) to $137/mo (Agency, 1,000 monitors) with founding member pricing at 40% off through June 2026. 256-bit SSL encryption. GDPR ready with regional data storage (US and EU).
