What are the best FileZilla alternatives?

FileZilla is described as 'powerful FTP-client. It has been designed for ease of use and with support for as many features as possible, while still being fast and reliable' and is a leading FTP Client in the File Sharing category. There are more than 50 alternatives to FileZilla for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Online / Web-based and Xfce. The best alternative is WinSCP , which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like FileZilla are Cyberduck (Free, Open Source), Total Commander (Freemium), Midnight Commander (Free, Open Source) and Multi Commander (Free).

JohnFastman FileZilla Secure is ABSOLUTELY the best alternative to FileZilla. FileZilla stores passwords in plain text which is an unforgiveable security flaw. FileZilla Secure fixes this. Unfortunately, FileZilla Secure is available for Windows only at the moment. Linux and Mac versions are on the way, we are told. Let's hope.
