What is Faro Client?

Faro is a modern desktop client for SFTP, FTP, SSH, S3-compatible, WebDAV, and cloud storage. Save a server once, then browse its files in a dual-pane view, drag-and-drop transfers with a live queue, sync folders, and open a multi-tab SSH terminal against the same session.

Faro also includes an Agent Bridge: let Claude Code or any MCP-compatible agent run commands on a remote box through your authenticated session — with per-command approval and zero credentials shared. And with Faro Agent, you can control a paired Windows, macOS, or Linux machine with no SSH server required, over an encrypted, key-pinned link.

Free, open source (MIT), no accounts, no tracking. Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
