i find it very usefull tool to add an ton of movies or tv shows on there incase i forget and want to watch it again. i sure love using this!
It's as near to perfect as your going to get.
The program is great, I have almost 200 of my movies cataloged, you can connect with IMDB but it only gives you the plot summary and IMDB number and that's it, the rest you must do manually. There should be a warning to this program that you can use it for free, but due to the site not being active anymore, not to click on the links associated with it. i Clicked on Online help and got a spam alert, same thing happened when I clicked on website. I'd love a safe current free software, but me being from an age of no computers I'm somewhat at a loss of what is safe and what isn't, you'd think Google would keep only safe stuff and remove bad stuff. Oh well, it is what it is I suppose. Take care and be safe out here in Cyberland.
It's a good site, don't click the links it gives you at the back of the site, they no longer exist and it will shoot out a spam alert. As for the site itself, I've got most of my movies in this site, some say it's great when they are out and about, but for me, it's on my computer, so unless I have that with me, I'm still liable to buy a duplicate LOL
Once it is tweaked it is easy to use and update is a snap when new movies are added. It handles physical inventory and digital just as easily. Take the time to understand the configurations available under the hood first; then enjoy the easy to use Gui you have setup to your liking for use. Even has a setting for the player you wish to use plus any switches it may have.
It do what it should do... and more ;) Import all movies from your Harddrive with Filename or Folder query to get Infomrations about the Movies from IMDB. Thats all i need.
This app is clearly a top notch contender when it comes to importing an old database including my personal comments. I am looking into a way to import the EMDB databse into an ipad application (eg the exported htm structure) but to no avail. Any help?
