Dunmast

Dunmast is a browser-based idle MMO set in the golden age of piracy. You hold a port, upgrade its buildings, research, raise a fleet, and send it out to raid NPC strongholds and other players. Everything runs on timers, so the world carries on while you are away.

It is a shared, persistent world rather than a single-player idle game. Multiple oceans of archipelagos, fog of war you scout through, colonies, alliances, market stalls where players set their own exchange rates, and a bounty system that marks the most notorious raiders on the map so everyone else can go after them.

Battles play out on screen with animated fleets and each enemy captain's own lines, and every fight gets a public replay page. Beyond raiding there is fishing, cooking, trading at towns, a chain of pirate captains to track down for prize ships, and bounty bosses hunted by the whole ocean.
