Pros: DriverMax is still the most reliable free option that I am aware of. You are only able to download two drivers per 24hr period but that's really the only restriction. Reliability is its strongest quality. However, it is sorely lacking in features and transparency.
Cons: Compared to other driver update utilities, the features in drivermax lag behind a lot. Just a few examples: Does not display important information about the new driver they offer such as publisher, digital signature. Unable to manage or cleanup the windows driver store. No ability to manage your own catalog of drivers, user benchmark or ratings for your particular system, ability to place your own notes next to driver file, etc.

I gave this program a 4 star rating instead of a 5 because I have had to contact these guys to rearm my lifetime registration because its limited if you change hard drives, reformat, buy a new computer, etc. I am almost constantly making changes to my older socket 1366 dual Xeon server to which is the main computer I use this on, and sometimes to my workstation laptop as well so when I have to contact them just to get use of my key again its quite annoying when I have paid for the lifetime membership & key. I never share my accounts, keys, etc.
It is definitely worth investing into if you need a good driver program that will more then likely find what ever drivers it is that your looking for. It found a sound driver I looked all over the internet for & could not find with my previous preferred driver app Snappy Driver Installer. I have also found that it does not install the wrong drivers like my previous favorite driver app sometimes did. Do not pass this program up just because I dropped 1 star, they did rearm it but told me in the future I would have to buy another key which I will not do if they disable it again because I am using it with the 2 computers I bought it for only not others.

It's actually not free they force you to buy pro version to be able to update your driver.
I feel this software is scam; the daily health check was my only interest so I paid but has never been able to enjoy the services. The worst thing is that am now tired of sending mails, they don't respond. So annoying
So far this has been the most reliable driver updating program that I have used. The only feature that would be great to have is a portable version that works offline so that it can be used on multiple systems without having to re-download the same content over again.
It suggests officially not existing newer version of intel video driver.
