A very good alternative to paid programs for updating drivers. DriverHub - 100% best free software.

At first I thought DriverHub was wonderful -- five stars -- but the next time I ran it, it insisted on an update and the installer presented me with a number of bundled programs I thought I did **not **agree to, but on proceeding past those pagers a bunch of junk was installed and the installation tried to change my browser start page and search. It took a while to eliminate the crap. Beware!

It seems like the developer waved such a kind of additional software distribution. In any way you have an option to switch off any checkboxes to avoid unwanted software installations.

Do NOT download this garbage program, please. I used the easy auto updater for my drivers and as soon as driverhub ended the update, boom, NOTHING was working. I had to manually search for ALL the drivers after rebooting with another keyboard and mouse because the drivers were completely fucked and mouse, keyboard, webcam and the fucking screen weren't working. If i could give 0/5 stars i would, stay away from this program.

DONT DOWNLOAD! I have had first hand experience with this software, i downloaded it then after it seemingly said it was installing the drivers, it crashes. I then try to boot it up again but it says it wont open due to my computer not having 'OpenGL 2.0 or higher' so it closes. I try again and after a while, at the bottom right of the screen, i see a pop up. My antivirus software, Mcafee, has stopped a virus..... There is proof! I searched the other day and found this website https://www.2-viruses.com/remove-driverhub-pup which tells you all about the software and its PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) status. Please, heed my warning, unless you have a dedicated, safe, paid antivirus software yourself. It could get you into a sticky situation, im lucky i had Mcafee.

I like to keep my computer up to date and, consequently, update my drivers from time to time. I recently used Driver Hub for the first time and immediately lost my mouse and keyboard. Obviously this caused some angst but I worked through it and after 3 full days I managed to get my computer operating again. The other part of this is that while working to get full operation I noticed my CPU and "C" drive both running at 100% and "Task Manager" was consuming up to 75% of my CPU time. I had normal speed before the installation. A scan with Malwarebytes and Avast failed to find anything untoward. I could only recommend people to stay well away from this piece of garbage. It could cost big dollars in a repair shop if you don't have the expertise to get your computer going again. Since getting the machine back to normal CPU is at 2 - 5% and "C" drive is running at around 10 - 15%. I am asked, below, to "rate the app". There is no provision for minus 10 stars. reply

I like it very much after tried a lot of other driver updater software. This is really freeware, makes it's job very well and finally it do not install something besides the things you choose. While you install it please uncheck/check what you do not want to install as recommended software.
