Great program - simple to use, but is only free for 14 days. It then locks you out until you purchase the program ($24.95).

In my case, DreamPlan for Mac was utterly disappointing and a huge waste of time. One of my worst software purchases ever. Here's why:

  • A whole subset of features was missing on my "supported" system due to some serious bug(s?). (This alone would grant my 1-star rating.)
  • Its user interface is not only ugly and outdated (which could get a pass); I also found it awkward and ill-conceived.
  • Customer support was appalling; then decent but impotent (they can't fix bugs, obviously).

My advice is that you try Live Home 3D by BeLight Software* instead. It wasn't my first choice due to its higher price, and I regret it so badly… It really is worth it, and it would have spared me all of that wasted time and frustration.

*I'm not affiliated with BeLight whatsoever. I'm just a happy user!

Live Home 3D does have its own quirks and learning curve as is inevitable with these powerful applications, however…

  • It's polished and it works. So far I've noticed only one very minor bug
  • Its UI is quite well thought out and looks Apple-like, pretty and modern
  • Its features are well above those of DreamPlan
  • It has more and better help resources
  • It has an excellent customer support in my experience
  • it also has iOS & iPadOS versions
  • It remains in active development too

I, for one, am loving it; but even if you don't get to like it so much, believe me, Live Home 3D is way better than DreamPlan in every single aspect!
