What is DoublePics?
DoublePics is an Image Management Tool to search for identical/duplicated and similar photos and movies. Anyone who has to deal intensively with images to compare will benefit from the advantages of DoublePics. It uses various and intelligent time-saving search algorithms to optimize the work process. The interface is divided into several windows, which allow easy access to the files and the required information. Each window can be hidden, moved (even on a separate monitor) or adapted to a larger size to create a cleaner surface. Image elements with the same image content and different storage formats are also tracked by Doublepics, because the software scans the elements and the material for differences / relationship in the image element itself. The fine-tuning of the scan parameters allows the application to recognize similar, non-identical images. DoublePics is capable of comparing so-called multi-elements (e.g., gifs, tiffs) and movies as well. The filters for files and images also leave nothing to be desired. You can select the scanned elements in the image filter section for camera model, recording date, existing GPS coordinate and much more. The file filter is information about the file itself (filtering, e.g. by file name, file creation date, hash status, etc.).

I downloaded several programs and this is the only one in the category that requires you to create an account just to use the free version. It doesn’t make sense and it’s lazy.
