Doric information
What is Doric?
Doric is a local-first bookkeeping app for Windows. Your data stays in a plain SQLite file you own, with no account required. Doric does real double-entry accounting under the hood (chart of accounts, reconciliation, journal entries, P&L and balance sheet, 1099 tracking) without making you think in debits and credits. Work from a fast, filterable register of every account at once, import from CSV, OFX/QFX, and QIF, create invoices with PDF export, and rely on rules that auto-categorize as you go. It's a single ~3MB executable with no bundled browser and no local server. An optional paid cloud tier adds automatic bank feeds via Plaid and zero-knowledge encrypted backup.
