What is DockTerm?

DockTerm is a desktop terminal workspace for Claude Code. Every pane is a real terminal running your own claude session, with tabs, splits and grids.

On macOS, munu brings Claude's permission prompts down from the notch, even over fullscreen apps, so you can answer them where you are.

Chat mode shows a pane's Claude transcript as a readable chat over the running terminal. A diff view lets you review Claude's changes, then stage and commit. A live view shows the subagents Claude starts and what each one is doing.

DockTerm is terminal first and not an IDE. It never calls an AI API itself, works locally, and has no telemetry, accounts or cloud sync. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux and is MIT licensed.
