Docbook Notes

Docbook is a calendar-based notebook for writing notes, tasks, and events on specific days. It supports Markdown-style editing, range notes that span multiple dates, and task tracking; incomplete tasks from past days are collected under an Overdue view. The web app can be used in a browser without an account, while signing in with Apple, Google, or email syncs notes across devices.

Its topic feature analyzes paragraphs and files them into topic pages with headings, linking related writing from different dates without requiring folders or manually maintained tags. Users can remove a paragraph from a suggested topic and edit topic pages directly. On Apple devices, Docbook can display and edit events through Apple Calendar; the web app supports Google Calendar.
