It has never failed me. Fixed every bad drive on Mac OSX. Supports latest drives unlike Spinrite 2006. That's the version that only supports drives < 2TB and no UEFI. Author of Spinrite says "the next version" will fix these problems. I've been waiting two years for the new version. All author cares about is some product called squirrel. Maybe he should hire a programmer.
It seems that he hardware diagnostic tool does not work with USB hard drive. I've tried with WD My Passport and SP Armor 60 with no luck.
