What is Dimmer?
Brightness control software for all your monitors
Dimmer is a small and free application for Windows designed to help control the brightness of your computer screen, monitor or display. This becomes very useful when you are in near/total darkness and the minimum brightness from your display or screen is still too much. It offers a fast and easy way to adjust the brightness of your displays, it can dim all your screens and monitors; LCD, TFT and LED backlit types (even CRTs). It supports multiple screens, displays and monitors with convenient individual controls to adjust each one.
By reducing the brightness of your screens, Dimmer helps to protect your eyes, improve your sleep and has saved the eyesight of thousands of users since 2004, some say it's better than carrots. Designed to run on all versions of Windows, it's simple, intuitive and lightweight on system resources, ideal for everyday use.

Comments and Reviews
Have been using it for many years now and cannot live without. Works like a charm under Win 11 and with 2 monitors side-by-side (i.e. multiple monitors).
It just changes the window brightness instead of adjusting the display brightness. Light leakage is very noticeable on LCD monitors. But this feature makes it possible to support any display device. I can also achieve the same function through the NVidia control panel
Easy and useful
Seems to work well, except it doesn't work on multiple monitor setups.
Very handy little application for extremely low-lit situations
