devBoard is a project tracker for freelancers and small dev teams. It keeps the parts that matter and leaves out the rest.
Work is organised as epics, tasks and subtasks on a kanban board with up to 20 columns. Each task can have a priority, dates, an estimate, a type, tags, several assignees and a release. A release groups work into a version. My Work shows everything assigned to you, sorted into overdue, today, this week, later and no date.
Every task has a timer. Start it, stop it, or log minutes after the fact. The total shows next to the estimate.
Freelancers make one workspace per client. Members have roles: owner, admin, member or guest. A guest can read but not change anything.
Pull requests on GitHub link to a task when the branch or title has the task key, and can move the card when the pull request opens or merges.
devBoard has an MCP server, so Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Desktop can read tasks, create them, comment, move cards and track time for you.
It is an app built for each platform: iPhone, Mac and Android. There is no web version. Free while in early access.
