Comments and Reviews
I pretty much use Day One for everything these days, quick notes, journals, email drafts, jotting ideas, and whatnot. I find it's interface pleasantly simple and it is always reliable.
There is only desktop Mac, iOS, and Android version. There is no desktop Windows version.
Shame on him!
It's a great app, but I would expect the voice recording feature to be free in this type of application.
iOS version is much better than Android. My gf has an iPhone and I have an Android and the version on android is much worse. For example backups of images are just local not online vs the iOS version they go online. Which for a app for showing memories over years is an issue.
Day One by Paul Mayne at Automattic is fast, supports text formatting, has a calendar view, "on this day", a nice UI, the ability to filter notes by places, synchronize across devices, and IFTTT integration.
