Dakota Alternatives

    Dakota is described as 'The Dakota toolkit provides a flexible and extensible interface between simulation codes and iterative analysis methods'. There are eight alternatives to Dakota for Windows, Linux, Mac, BSD and Xfce. The best alternative is R (programming language), which is both free and Open Source.
