What is Continuity.tv?

Continuity.tv is local-first web application designed as a privacy-focused, decentralized alternative to traditional entertainment tracking tools. The platform allows users to import, manage and secure their viewing history and metadata directly in the browser without requiring user accounts or cloud storage. It was specifically built as a replacement for the popular tracking app TV Time.

Key Features:

TV Time Data Import: It allows users to upload their TV Time data export to restore their entire watch history. This includes logged episodes, exact dates, rewatches, movie records, and community badges.

Local-First Privacy: Your entire watch history is saved directly on your own device rather than a corporate server. There are no required accounts, ads, or third-party data sales.

Zero Server Transfer: When loading files on the onboarding path, data processing is kept completely client-side. There are no background upload waiting rooms, upload bars, or server-side queues because everything executes within local device storage.
