What is Clips by Plastic?

Clips makes lyric video ads for musicians. Drop in a finished song and Clips turns every part of it (verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge) into a vertical video cut on the beat, with the lyrics synced word by word.

One export gives you a whole batch: every part of the song on every backdrop. Run them all as ads for a few dollars a day, see which part strangers respond to, and put your budget behind that one. No timeline to edit.

Exports vertical video at 1080 x 1920 or square at 1080 x 1080, for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and Stories. Clips works offline, so your unreleased song never leaves your Mac.

Free forever, with a small Clips tag on exports. $99 once removes the tag, for up to 3 of your own Macs, with free updates and no subscription. Studio, for three people, is $249 once. Requires macOS 13 or later, Apple silicon or Intel; lyric sync is best on macOS 26.
