ClipPigeon

ClipPigeon moves text between any two devices with a browser: paste a note, link, address or password, save it, then open the link or scan the QR code on the other device. Once your devices are connected, it also sends photos, videos and documents straight from one to the other.

Your text is encrypted in your browser before it's sent, and the key stays in the part of the link after the "#", which browsers never send to a website. The server only ever stores encrypted text it can't read.

• Choose how long a text lasts: 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days
• "Delete after it's opened once": the first person to open it gets it, then the link stops working (a link preview in a chat app doesn't use it up)
• "Hide it" shows a password as dots until someone taps Show; Copy works without revealing it
• Connect device: join up to five browsers to one history with a one-time code, so texts you save on one appear on the others, still end-to-end encrypted
• Files between your connected devices: up to 20 files, 1 GB at a time, sent directly between the two browsers and never stored on the server (through an encrypted relay, up to 100 MB, when no direct path exists)
• No account, no app, no ads or tracking in the app
• Works on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook

Texts are plain text, up to 100 KB. Files go only between your own connected devices; to share a text with someone else, send its link.
