It's a fork of Clementine. Actually better, more stable and currently updated (last commit on GitHub 6 hours ago). Just discovered this program, but am already very happy with it.

I really enjoy the plug-in features that Audacious offers that I can't find anywhere else. For example, the built-in Dynamic Range Compressor (DRC) is ideal for me because I work in an office with other computer users. I set the DRC to eliminate most of the dynamic range, then I set my volume high enough to hear my tunes. I'll hear all of the music from the loud to quiet portions and I won't miss a thing!

It neatly integrates with the GTK environment which makes a very nice look. After studying the various features to tune queries it even equals clementine's intelligent playlist feature. A further plus: scanning a large music library is dead fast. I'll stick to it.

Quod Libet is vastly expandible with plugins leaving no wishes unanswered, reading the library is dead fast and it looks well on all gnome/xfce/lxde environments.
