What is CiteFlow?
CiteFlow is a focused desktop research workspace for students, researchers, academic writers, and anyone who wants to manage PDFs, notes, citations, and bibliographies in one place.
Instead of splitting your workflow across multiple tools, CiteFlow brings reading, annotation, source organization, and citation management together in a single desktop application. You can create dedicated project spaces for essays, articles, reports, theses, literature reviews, and long-form research, then keep your documents and notes connected from the first reading session to the final export.
Import PDFs into your library and read them directly inside the app with page navigation, zoom controls, in-document search, and side-by-side reading for comparing sources. You can highlight important passages, add page-based notes, organize project notes, and track reading status as your work progresses.
CiteFlow also helps with source management. It supports DOI-assisted metadata detection, citation history for copied excerpts, and bibliography generation in APA 7 and MLA 9. OCR support helps make scanned PDFs searchable, while project-wide search lets you find matching text across PDFs, OCR text, highlights, and notes.
Supported interface and workflow languages include English, Turkish, Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Japanese.
CiteFlow is designed as a calm, local desktop workspace that makes serious reading, note-taking, source organization, and academic writing more structured and reliable.
