CineCinch information
What is CineCinch?
CineCinch is a simple Windows tool that helps you find and shrink space-hogging videos. Instead of guessing which files to compress, CineCinch scans entire folders, analyzes each video’s size, duration, and bitrate, and ranks them by inefficiency. You immediately see which files waste the most storage and which ones will benefit most from compression.
Once identified, CineCinch batch-compresses videos using efficient H.265 (HEVC) encoding, with four straightforward compression modes designed for predictable results. The interface is clean and focused: choose a folder, review the analysis table, select the videos you want to shrink, and let CineCinch handle the rest. Optional controls allow you to preserve all audio tracks and subtitle tracks when needed.
CineCinch includes real-time scanning, duration probing, customizable file-type filters, queue management, persistent settings, and safety-focused controls like Cancel, Stop After Current, and Reset Progress. All processing happens locally on your machine — no uploads, no telemetry, no cloud services.
If you want a lightweight alternative to complex tools like HandBrake or ffmpeg front-ends, CineCinch focuses on clarity, efficiency, and helping you quickly reclaim disk space without dealing with complicated presets or command lines.
