What is Google Chrome?
Google Chrome offers a simple design without sacrificing essential browsing features, promising efficient navigation with several extra features for a smooth user experience.
Simplicity is key in Chrome’s design, avoiding a cluttered interface that could distract from web surfing.
While some might argue excessive minimalism can be harmful, no aspect or feature seems truncated or lacking in functionality in Chrome. Everything is just a click away.
Core features like tab use for controlling the surfing session are essential and commonly found in most browsers. Beyond the essentials, Chrome offers extra features like a dedicated task manager for better resource management at the tab level.
The presence of the Incognito mode, though standard, is essential.
Pre-installed extensions like Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides address online Office requirements and simplify usage.

Comments and Reviews
I was a die-hard Chrome fan for quite a few years, but recently I've mostly switched over to the un-hyped browser Waterfox. For some reason, I've never really liked Firefox much but I really just mesh well with the style of Waterfox - if you're looking for a browser that can match or even surpass Google Chrome in quality and style, check out Waterfox and see how you like it.
Strength: • Widely use
Challenge: • Google Chrome spies on you. By default Google Chrome tracks your activity on the internet. Via sync, cookies, and various methods. After Google collected your information, they sell it in covert ways to total strangers. This is part of Google business model. This is your reminder that Google is a for profit corporation. By collecting your data and linking it to you, Google put you at risk for data breaches. • Google Chrome is own by a for-profit corporation. It is not owned by a not-for-profit community. Usually a corporation first priority is to hoard money. Not serve you and protect your privacy.
Suggestion: • Use Mozilla Firefox instead of Chrome. Because Firefox does NOT spy on you. With Firefox those spy features are still available, but they are all deactivated by default. Try Firefox at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/
• Firefox version 60+ (Quantum) is presently FASTER than Chrome and use less memory than Chrome. • Firefox code is owned by a NOT-for-profit community. The Mozilla Foundation. Usually a real not-for-profit organization first priority is to serve you and protect your privacy. Not spy on you, not hoard money.
• If you need even stronger privacy than Firefox, you might be interested in Tor Browser at https://www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser.html.en Which is powered by Firefox.

Very much a privacy-inhibiting software, with intense, often unused mass integration with google services. Google makes profit from this closed-source freeware by taking a much larger amount of data than even google search or other services can by being an integrated app on your computer/phone.
Only use if you rely heavily on google services, so much that a dedicated browser is needed, and don't mind the privacy issues. I would recommend Brave as an alternative.
Clearly Google has no good intents when it comes to how they deal with users. Manivest 3 preventing a proper uBlock Origin adblocker is just the tip of the iceberg of all over the place dark patters. Switched to an open source browser a while ago, never looked back.
If you're fine using Google's services such as Play Store, YouTube, Google Docs, etc. but then you want to complain how Chrome uses your data when collected or how they force you to watch ads... I'll advice you to keep using Chrome because your actions may indicate anything else but a disagreement for that.
Alphabet (Google) is currently facing some legal "monopoly-related" issues that might change the future for Chrome but it will take some time for that to happen and to start to see changes.
Chrome no longer supports the best ad blocker available, uBlock Origin. It is time to switch to firefox and leave this ad-infested mess behind.
