Checksum Control Alternatives

    Checksum Control is described as 'A program to verify and write checksumfiles. It supports SFV and MD5 , even some exotic MD5 file types. Very easy to use, with a wizard interface'. There are more than 25 alternatives to Checksum Control for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, BSD and Online / Web-based. The best alternative is HashCheck Shell Extension, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Checksum Control are FileBot (Paid), GtkHash (Free, Open Source), QuickSFV (Free) and Hasher (Free Personal).
