BranchBay is a fast, native Git client for macOS, Windows and Linux, written in Rust and drawn on the GPU. It is local-first: no account, no telemetry, no cloud sync.
The Launchpad lists every repository you have checked out, sorted into groups, with issues and pull requests across all of them. Profiles keep work and personal identities, repositories and connected accounts apart. A tray with a global shortcut opens any repository in BranchBay, your IDE or a terminal.
Integrations: GitHub, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, self-hosted GitLab, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Data Center and Azure DevOps. Pull requests are created from the app.
Git features: a commit graph whose lanes keep their column, staging by line or hunk, split and inline diffs with word-level highlights, a three-way merge conflict resolver with automatic solving, visual interactive rebase, drag-and-drop merge and rebase, blame, reflog with reset, a docked terminal, a command palette, an in-place editor with syntax highlighting for 81 languages, Markdown and image previews, and remappable shortcuts.
Integrations: GitHub, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, self-hosted GitLab, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Data Center and Azure DevOps. Pull requests are created from the app; tokens stay in the system credential store.
Linux packages: apt (Ubuntu, Debian), AUR, Gentoo, Nix, Homebrew on Linux, AppImage and tarball.
14-day free trial with every feature, then $20 once for two computers in any mix of operating systems.
