A blip is a combination of 1) a song and 2) a short message that accompanies it. The way you create a blip is to first search for a song that you want to hear (or a song that you want your listeners to hear), then add a short message (under 150 characters), finally you submit it.

I like picking my own music and allowing others the chance to listen. I also like looking at others taste in music and being able to respond. I used to look forward to getting in blip every night. Now, we have to either reblip someone else’s songs or import songs from Spotify or Yourube. I don’t know how to import from YouTube.
We are all very upset that this site has gone down. Paid on the 28th December 2017 and up till the weekend of 12th January 2019. Things were working, sometimes slowly but still there. We have tried without success to log on to the timed out site. Many people love this site and it asked for payments to help keep it afloat. We tried to track down the owners and I found two people a CEO and the owner. BOTH were not answering their tweets or emails, I had two email accounts for the CEO and one bounced. So, we are all needing explanations on the reasons why it was cut off and went down. It was like 1967 when the Radio Pirates were silenced off the British coasts. Like the film...and now silence. I'm 64 and remember the pirate radio days. Sad that we all need the same format on another site if someone is clever enough to make it happen. Success is measured by greatness, you have to finish what you started and give the people a choice. Pay their own Music and share with others. More CD's bought over the years I have been doing my station. Found some great tracks and hopefully made those artists mainstream again, something these rights people do not do. Simply fade away and be dusty vinyl on a shelf again, never played and forgotten.
Well, it has done something to get action on the site. Still not able to fully log on. I traced the original CEO and it seems to have worked. Looks like they may have had tech problems. With being the only site that allows people to share their music and maintain a playlist. I have looked at others and it is sad that this site can be the only one. More updates as we go along. Seems that IE browser part works and Mozilla has problems. We live in hope.
