I use OpenStreetMap for a map, but Bing Maps for the aerial imagery because the site is much faster and smoother than Google Maps. Good alternative to reduce your dependency on Google.

Probably the best alternative to Google Maps on desktop. It does not have a mobile app though, which is a shame.
