I'm using Bigtime to let several contractors post their hours and provide detail on the work done. They only get paid upon completion. It's nice how much detailed reports Bigtime can generate per staff member , contractor and various projects. It gives a lot of detail functionality. Setting up the budget management and project tracking is a bit more work so I have not done it. It seems very powerful though and very rich functionality at this price point. I used Excel first but that was not sustainable, especially with a team of many people. Team members also like the mobile app, especially combining time reporting and expense reporting. The biggest pain point is that receipts that are uploaded into the bigtime expense app cannot be downloaded for tax return purposes easily.
