What is BackApp?

NativePass is a native macOS client for the Unix password manager pass. It lets you browse a nested password store, search entries, copy passwords and custom fields, and show TOTP codes when pass-otp is installed.

Security features include a GPG-backed store, App Lock with Touch ID (or device password), and clipboard auto-clear. Git Pull/Push from the sidebar keeps the store in sync. A global hotkey (??P) opens Quick Access for fast copy.

Design is inspired by Apple’s Passwords app. NativePass is a GUI around the pass CLI stack you install separately (pass, GnuPG, pinentry-mac, optionally pass-otp).

Open source (MIT). Available from GitHub Releases and a personal Homebrew tap.
