Avygeo is a free, community-driven travel guide where members publish reviews, videos, photos and travel journals about the places they have visited.

What makes it different from other review platforms is where the value goes. Each recommendation a contribution receives from the community converts into points, and those points become donations paid by Avygeo to a nonprofit the member has chosen. Members pick their causes from a roster of partner organizations working in international solidarity, environmental protection and sustainable development.

Contributions are organized by destination and kept permanently rather than disappearing into a feed, so the archive works as a searchable reference for trip planning. Contributors level up as they publish and build a visible track record on the destinations they know best.
