What is Ask Linc?

Ask Linc is an AI financial planning assistant built for the money questions that a pretty dashboard can't help you answer.

Connect your finances, then ask what you’re actually trying to figure out: "Can I afford to retire early? What happens if I buy this house? How much could I safely spend each year? What if markets fall right after I retire?" Ask Linc builds a financial model around your situation so you can explore decisions, change assumptions, and see how the outcome changes.

Unlike a traditional personal finance app, Ask Linc isn’t primarily about tracking spending or showing pretty charts. And unlike a general-purpose AI assistant, it doesn’t simply reason over a pile of financial data and hope the math is right. Financial calculations are handled separately from the AI reasoning layer, using structured data, validated calculations, and current economic and market inputs where appropriate.

Most importantly, Ask Linc shows its work. You can inspect the assumptions, calculations, and data behind an answer instead of having to trust a confident-sounding response.

The goal is simple: use AI to help you reason through complex financial decisions and what-ifs — while giving you answers you can actually check.
