Some good ideas in this task manager : resources usage history, sorting processes by publisher's certificate or unsigned. It shows which program uses microphone or webcam. A popup alerts the user when a new unsigned process is executed or accesses the camera. Alerts can be triggered by other events (microphone access, new app launch ... ).

AppControl is a historical Task Manager for Windows PCs that lets you scroll back through days of detailed system activity. AppControl also shows you which apps accessed your webcam, microphone, location, and much more — including hidden app installs you might have missed.

Are you worried your PC is running a bit hot? AppControl keeps track of your PC's CPU/GPU temperature historically. If you find your PC is overheating you can go back in time and see what app was using the most hardware resources at the time.
