Best alternative to burner mails.
Great tool to hide your email. Servers are in the Netherlands (not too bad), the web-UI is excellent (sleek, self-explaining and simple), chrome, brave, opera extensions work well. This is a must have tool for all privacy conscious people on the web.
Thanks so much!
DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP.
E-mails fail to deliver for no apparent reason (explanations of failed deliveries is a premium feature), no warning when you are getting close to your bandwidth limit, very hard to manage bandwidth as it is impossible to tell which aliases are using the most of it.
Started using it to improve my privacy. Nightmare app. Wish I had never used it.
Cheap, reliant, easy, multiple choices in domains ect. Amazing service
Amazing tool, I also find it a big plus that you can self host it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that cares about security and privacy. The interface is simple sleek.
But couldn't a sophisticated spammer harvest the user's email root domain (eg, @myusername.anonaddy.com) and start spamming random email addresses using that root, especially since anonaddy.com (and also bulc.club and others) by default allow the first email sent to an address to go through? How might one avoid such a hack as spammers often adapt fast?
Great question! The real power of BULC CLUB, beyond other email forwarders (and Plus Addressing, like GMail's), is the folksonomy-based filtering. We harness the power of our Membership to regularly block spammer addresses and domains, preventing their emails from ever forwarding to your inbox. It's our hope, with your continued support, that we'll be able to maintain the world's most accurate and current catalogue of spammers. To our knowledge, no other free service can claim the same.
Thanks for your inquiry, support, and referrals. Please let us know if you have further questions.
It is great email alias solution and more. I recommend this and SimpleLogin. AnonAddy is cheaper and easier to use but not as feature rich. SimpleLogin is much more powerful but that also adds complexity for those looking for the easiest email aliasing solution that works, secure, privacy focused, and more. I recommend paying the Lite plan for $12 for the entire year to support a great project and not put all your eggs in one product.
For the price
Pleased! Temporary emails that last as long as you want. They can be changed at will and will forward to your choice of email address. The free part is generous.
