What is Aegis Latent Core?

Aegis Latent Core is an open-source gateway for governed LLM traffic. It records the authoritative replay stream in an fsynced JSONL write-ahead log and can commit terminal evidence after bounded streaming holdback. Clients can verify MMR inclusion against a root they trust independently. An auxiliary Rust mmap/CRC32 stream segment is not the replay authority. Formal artifacts cover two Z3 checks, a Lean theorem, and finite TLC models; they are bounded checks, not a whole-implementation proof. Release v4.0.1 is public, while current Python and npm packages and release assets are version 4.0.0. It is not presented as compliance certification, legal admissibility, non-repudiation, or production readiness.
